Built for Modern Enterprise Data Platforms
As organizations generate and process increasingly large volumes of data, database infrastructure must deliver not only higher performance but also greater scalability, availability, and operational efficiency.
To address these demands, Tibero today introduced ZetaData7, its next-generation integrated database appliance designed for high-performance enterprise workloads and real-time analytics.
The new platform combines Tibero7, Tibero's flagship enterprise database, with Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 V3 servers and high-speed networking in a fully integrated appliance optimized for mission-critical database environments.
Optimized Performance Through Integrated Architecture
ZetaData7 is engineered to maximize database performance through tight integration of software and hardware.
Powered by Tibero7, which provides a high level of Oracle Database compatibility, the appliance delivers up to 80% higher data processing performance compared with the previous generation through platform-level optimization.
The system also incorporates 100Gbps InfiniBand networking to significantly accelerate data transfer between database and storage nodes, reducing latency and improving throughput for data-intensive applications.
Designed for Scalability and High Availability
The appliance features a modular architecture that allows organizations to independently scale database and storage resources as workload requirements grow.
To support business continuity, ZetaData7 incorporates Tibero Active Cluster (TAC), Tibero's shared-disk active-active clustering technology, enabling continuous database availability for mission-critical applications.
Accelerating Analytics with Intelligent Data Processing
ZetaData7 also introduces several intelligent data processing technologies designed to improve analytical performance and reduce storage bottlenecks.
These capabilities include Function Offloading, which moves selected database processing closer to the storage layer to reduce I/O overhead, Storage Data Map for metadata optimization, and Auto Flash Caching for frequently accessed hot data.
Together, these technologies can deliver up to 10x faster analytical processing for selected workloads, helping organizations generate business insights more quickly from large-scale datasets.
Supporting the Next Generation of Enterprise Analytics
According to Sangyoung Park, Head of R&D at Tibero, ZetaData7 is currently being evaluated through proof-of-concept (PoC) projects with enterprise customers.
"Organizations increasingly depend on real-time data to drive business decisions," Park said. "ZetaData7 is designed to provide the performance, scalability, and operational reliability required for modern enterprise data platforms, and we are seeing encouraging results from customer evaluations in production-like environments."
